As a counsellor, teacher, coach, spouse, parent, co-parent, and step-parent, Claudia brings a wealth of lived experience and knowledge to her practice in addition to her formal training. She can empathize with your concerns and work with you to support you through your journey. She is passionate about psychoeducation, family and couples issues, communication, and youth mental health. I support families who are experiencing uncertainty about the next steps for a child who may be struggling with racing thoughts, shame, or feeling misunderstood, so together you can feel equipped, supported, and confident throughout the journey.

I understand that every child, youth, and young adult experiences the world differently. What brings one young person to counselling may look very different from another, which is why I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach. My role is to meet each individual where they are, creating a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where they feel safe, understood, and accepted for exactly who they are.

Together, we work to make sense of life’s challenges while building confidence, emotional awareness, resilience, and practical coping skills. With a background in medical trauma, my diverse experience includes working on a specialized team within the school district, as well as roles in non-profit organizations and Victoria General Hospital’s Pediatric Unit. I consider myself fortunate to have such varied experiences, and providing families with compassionate, holistic support through private practice as an RCC has truly been a privilege.
